Nestled at the bottom of a secluded driveway, Letham House is located just outside the small market town of Haddington in East Lothian. This beautiful area is just a short drive from Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh.
With extensive grounds and gardens, this beautiful 17th Century mansion is an oasis of tranquillity and privacy where your every need is catered to by Barbara and Chris Sharman. Having spent two years carefully restoring Letham House, the standard of each individual suite and public room is outstanding and has made quite an impression on our guests, creating many happy memories.

Throughout the year the mature grounds are ever changing and Letham House makes an exceptional setting for all occasions, whether it is a special celebration or just a quiet weekend away. In winter roaring log fires, luxurious and comfortable suites, home cooked food and acres of beautiful grounds create a home from home in this stunning mansion.

In East Lothian with such a great variety of excursions and sporting activities available, the staff at Letham House are available to help you organise the break you want. From golfing at world famous golf courses, going to the horse racing at Musselburgh to a visit at the local whisky distillery Glenkinchie, we can help you tailor your break. What ever your reasons for visiting the area, Letham House will welcome you with warm hospitality and arm you with all the necessary information and assistance to make the most of your stay.

Recently we joined forces with a creative design super-team to develop a new website for Letham House. We are delighted to also launch a new Online Booking Service in conjunction with the new website, so booking your stay with us will just take the click of a button! Keep an eye out for the launch soon.

U.S. Kids Golf European Championship 2012

450 top junior golfers, from over 30 different countries, will descend upon East Lothian in June to take part in the prestigious US Kids Golf European Championship.

We are ideally located for Gullane golf course and do have some availability left during the Championship. Please contact us to check availabilty.

Afternoon Tea in the Gardens

All our guests are offered complimentary Afternoon Tea in the grounds and gardens of Letham House. The Drawing Room will always be on hand if the April showers persist!
